Bonnie N. Collide, Nine to Five #261
/Really I'm just dying to know what's in the gift bags.
Really I'm just dying to know what's in the gift bags.
Herb knows what's really important. Keep your eyes on the prize, everyone!
Soooo if any of you are in the Bmore/DC area, this weekend I'll be chatting about the fantastic Stripped documentary at Strathmore for “Beyond Text and Line: A Discussion on the Art of Comic Books” alongside other local cartoony types Emily Gillis, JD Deardourff, and Rafer Roberts. Come visit, chat with us, and watch part of our beloved comics industry's history on screen! BILL WATTERSONNNNNNNN!
Oh yeah, and I've still got an Eos Sale going on at my shop! 15% off with the code EOSTRE14 on anythang!
Also also - if any of y'all read (or wanna read) my OTHER webcomic about Greek Gods messing in the lives of college kids, I announced yesterday that the next chapter starts up June 4th! In the meantime I'll be posting fun things leading up to it, some come on over there and hang out to see what's happening.
I'm totally gonna steal this for my wedding vows.

I have to admit, swigging my wine and making a dramatic announcement is something I'm ALWAYS tempted to do at a dinner party.
Everyone's favorite dinner party guest, the ticking timebomb!
Sometimes Herb just turns into full-on Frasier Crane and there's nothing I can do to stop him.
So hey - if any of you East Coasters are going to be in New Jersey this weekend for Asbury Park Comic Con, come see me at table A-110!
I don't know why I had Beetlejuice's "Handbook for the Recently Deceased" in my head for this strip, but I totally did.

*HAY GUYS* I know many of you are fans of Danielle Corsetto's Girls With Slingshots comic, and since she is going on a whirlwind cross-country trip of fun this summer, she needs guest strips! If you want to see me draw Hazel n' Jamie (well I WOULD love to draw Clarice or Maureen or Jameson or Melody or Chris ACK too many to choose!), give me a shout out in the comment section on her blog here. See, I've already drawn Mimi, let's keep this party going! :)
Every dinner party needs a little drama. And a LOT of werewolf!
Oh, so if you've ever wanted to hear me speak - here's a podcast interview I did with Corey Hodgdon, of "Maybe I'll Be Back!" Click here to listen! :)
Maybe Harold will write a memoir - "My Husband, the Hairiest Love A Man Could Ask For" or "When You Find Yourself In Love With a Man-Beast".
If you're curious as to what I was up to this weekend, here's my recap of Emerald City Comic Con, featuring all my sketches of super heroines in empowering poses!

If you've guessed that the Bonnie comics will be appearing a wee bit off schedule this week because I'm still recovering from ECCC, you are correct! Well, that and my plane got in 5 1/2 hours later than it was supposed to yesterday, plus I didn't get my luggage until about 15 minutes ago and had to go the WHOLE DAY without mascara. The horrors! (of course, I still had my lipstick - my lipstick is my better half) Anyhoo, in the meantime, here's a sketch I did of Bonnie for my dear friend Andy Perez!
